Short video of my buddies truck headed for BJ this January

Well my good friend and hot rod builder Dale Gerry has sold his incredible COE and the fellows who bought it have it listed in the January sale for BJ in Scottsdale. They made a one minute video that may be used to promote it.  One of the guys who bought it is also a good friend and he showed me the video yesterday at our weekly car guys supper. Will be interesting if there will be a market for it. Just an outstanding build as some of you guys have seen it. https://youtu.be/quknnCInZ5U

My heartbeat shot up with that, seriously.

Did BJ choose the liner specifically for the add Jerel?

Nice truck!  Was hoping to hear it run and see it drive, though.

Hope they make a lot of money off of it.  There certainly won't be another vehicle like it there.

No actually my friend Paul and his partner just made it up and then set it to BJ.  BJ had already accepted the consignment but it looks good as where they will place the truck and when it will roll across the floor.  They have also arranged for it to be shown in their booth at the Good Guys in Phoenix in mid November.  Paul will be going down there to represent it and I'm hoping to make it over there for either that or for the sale.

I'll see if I can find a video of it driving. Sounds great as there actually are no mufflers.   I have a couple short ones but they had a lot of wind noise because I was following with my Beaumont with the top down.  I followed them all the way down to California for the Good Guys in Pleasanton.  Listened to it for 2 days steady.  By the way he won the builder's award at that show.

Very beautiful COE. I remember a few postings of it from your garage tours over the years.

That would be cool, Jerel, but don't go to any trouble.  The photos alone show that it's so much more than an old street rod, but an actual piece of functional art, inside and out.

I've said it before it would be neat if these projects could be brought to a car event for people to see what all goes on underneath those bodies. I was at Dales today and he mentioned he has offered to build a trailer for the truck for the new owner. Says he still has the patterns of the fenders to match the truck.

Yes it is quite the Machine, also nice people to boot. Was amazed at what they build in the space they have to build it.
Special Thanks to Jerel for the shop tour. Still have some picture of the Celica they were doing.
