1973 Ontario License Plates ....YOM Clear ... Mint

Nice set. 1973 was the last year for a year specific plate in Ontario.

Not sure where the AHN ones were distributed. DHC was Goderich, BMJ/K/L seemed to be centered in "northern Etobicoke", the community formerly known as Rexdale.

Yes ... '73 last year before the stickers were used ... that's why it is very difficult to find Mint '73 Plates ... they were used and abused for a number of years.
Not sure where AZA are from but I still have a set I used in '73 with ...... BYX. Plates came out of the West Hamilton / Dundas area ...

I still run a 1973 good readable set on my modern vehicle that has my name on them. Won't put on a pix of them for security reasons. They were purchased from a small License office in Leaside close to where I worked. Ray probably knows of it when they were on McRae Drive at a garage called Bayview Motors run by the Lepard Brothers. At one time it was the closest Esso Station to Imperial Oil's head office when they were on Laird Drive. The pumps were taken out due to old storage tanks. Bob.
