Pontiac dumped all their C-bodies a couple of years prior, but the Canadian models continued till the RWD platform went away in '86. I'm pretty sure that the half-hearted effort to get back in the full-size game, no doubt under tremendous pressure from their dealer network, led to bringing Canadian-built Parisiennes Stateside around this time. Hard to believe something 36 years old has only 5K on it.
Even harder to believe I wasn't yet 36 when it was built. :(
This is an outgrowth of the former Kruse Auctions house that RM, from Chatham, acquired ten or more years ago. They tend to concentrate on low-mileage, as-built cars, eschewing restomods and exotics. Not sure if I'll be making the trek down, we have our own GAA coming up in two weeks, and the Raleigh one is a good hour-and-a-half each way. Last time I went to one, I ended up coming home with something I didn't REALLY need.
