Played my first game of hockey in over 40 years!

Played my first game on this table in over 45 years with my son last night. Got this game for Christmas back in 1970-72 I think. Have a pic of dad and I playing it on the kitchen table (will dig it up). Was just kinda cool to have 3 gens playing on it!   O YA..I won 9-7 biggrin

I had a very similar game back in the early 70's, it had the gondola above center ice. My brother and I played countless games, with him usually as the victor. Then one day I switched the players end for end, and I beat him all the time. I don't know what difference it made, but he never figured out why I was winning.

That is a memory maker for sure. We didnt have TV at that time of my life so many good hours with even some play by play announced. Now get those skates out Jim, it is still my favourite hour and a half of the day.

When I was growing up we didn't have those sophisticated hockey games.

we had these. Anybody remember those hockey table games?

The table came with a center ice  gondola but it was lost/broke many years ago.

They were preprogrammed so that the blue (Leafs) team always lost. Continues to this day.
