Got myself one of these new LED headband lights and I'm impressed

Actually my wife got it for me. These new headband lights that have an LED strip instead of a bulb are impressive. They are rechargeable and will run for a few hours.

When I turned it on I couldn't believe how bright it was. I walked outside at 11pm and was impressed on how much I could see. You could literally work on your car without any other light source.

I've used it when underneath my truck and I love it! I showed a friend of mine and he's ordered three of them. There are a bunch of different styles on Amazon all priced from about $21-$35.

Here's a screen shot of the one like I have. Mine has a red taillight which would be useful if you are out walking the dog at night.

I have several of the "old style" LED headlamps ... they are great.

Does yours beep when you walk backwards Todd?wink

I'd probably just want the front light style.

It has to come from China so a bit of a wait to get it. A friend of mine just ordered 3 of these which are cheaper, don't have the rear light and has some sort of motion activation feature and are available in 2-3 days.
