So just a couple weeks after selling my truck I had someone wanting my car. As it turns out I decided to turn down an 85k USD offer and keep it. I want to cruise down the California coast next year and jump over and cruise the Vegas strip, and you cant do that wits dollar bills. Am I crazy, I dont think so, a shop bill to do this car would have been 150k so......

Not crazy - why go to the trouble of building it if you're not going to fully enjoy it?

Life is short - create memories with it and have some fun. You can always sell it anytime if you decide to move on... but do it on your terms.
