Hey everyone, I'm about to sell my '64 Parisenne 2dr hardtop with a 327 and powerglide. If anyone could give me a ballpark of value for it that would be great. I've seen fully restored Pontiac for as high as $70,000 USD and down to $500 and although this one if faaaar from show room quailty I would still like to sell it for a decent price.
The body is clean, the drivetrain is solid (fully rebuilt engine, new carb, new intake, new ignition, new gears in the rear end), the interior is falling apart, and the under carriage has some rust, its got some slow leaks from the tranny and power assist steering. Paint is garbage.
Welcome, even though you've been lurking for quite some time (2012).
I'd say start around $8,000.00.
I see you are in BC.

I agree with Darryl and Mike's suggestion of an $8000.00 starting point. Interesting Pontiac in that it is definitely a Parisienne but somewhere along the road someone has added the elusive rocker moldings from the top Custom Sport model. These old cars certainly do have a history.
They sure do have some history this car has been in the family for a couple decades. I wish I could keep it but for one I don't have a garage space for it and it kills me to see it outside getting rained on, and two I have no time to work on it.

I never noticed. Duh, too early in the morning.
The CS lower moldings are much more problematic than the base Parisienne moldings. It would be interesting to how they are attached and what shape they are in.

With rust "issues" in under carriage??? bad paint & interior IMOP $8000 is HIGH?? Paint re spray with no body work here in Ontario is edging towards $10 grand if you can find a shop willing to do it!!! I may get "nasty replies but IMOP it's between $ 3000 & $ 5000 vehicle considering the shape it's in.
