The conversation in a different thread reminded me of a question I have.
Does someone have a 66 Pontiac that has the original right front fender with the radio antenna removed? I'm curious what the hole looks like and what size it is. I know some years had a notch cut out of the circle to index the antenna base in the hole.

It would be nice to put in a stainless plug painted body colour.
I have some plugs I can check when the time is right.

Precisely what I was thinking of doing! Those snap in stainless plugs come in common sizes but if it does happen to be 1 1/8" I'm not sure if that will be one of the sizes available.

Thanks George, the Granger one looks hopeful. When I go to the city I typically drive right past the Acklands/Granger location on the southwest side of town.
