Not Canadian, nor even a Pontiac...

Breaks my heart, but the time has come.

(2) Ultra-low mileage '62 Impala SS 409 coupe for sale | Impalas.net

Dunno if you can get into this link without signing up for the site, but if anyone's interested, PM me and I'll send you a link to a blizzard of images and videos, and answer any questions you might have.  BJBurnout has seen the car, when it was up in Goderich for three years in the mid-teens, at cruise nights.

A+ beauty. Love '62 -'64 Impalas! 409 is the cherry on top!

Colour scheme reminds me of the '63 I had.

Yes I had a 63 SS from California. Bought in in 1993 before my first child was born. It was very solid and restorable. I even had a 409 and 4 speed for it. I did all the metal work in 2000 and then put it aside when my last child was born in that year. When I realized a couple of years ago that I'd never get to finish it, nor would I ever get my money back out of it, I turned it over to my brother. It's his only old car so I'm hoping he will be able to move it along more than I had done. The good thing is that the metal repair that was needed has all been done, and I had all new interior for it. The rest is mechanical and cosmetic.

That 62 is beautiful. I'm sure it will sell. Likewise I love the turquoise colour on the Canadian 63, and it has tinted glass. Love it.
