Lamps on, yes, no?

Do you guys run lights on during the day? I have been putting them on all the time on the 65. Makes sense?

I never do but it's likely a good idea. And I see you wired your park lamps in to come on too. Nice look.

Daytime running lights have become a subconscious fact. I have caught myself doing the left right left check at an intersection and (fortunately) realized I missed a car coming toward me with no lights. Im subconsciously only seeing the lights.
I always thought running with just the park lights was cool, but to be safe today, I really think you have to light up as much as possible. And highlighting (no pun intended) those stacked headlights is not a bad look

Exactly Wes. If we don't see that white we don't see the car anymore. It's true.

No harm to turn them on Guys. Just remember they're on when you pull in and shut down.

Its the law here, if you dont have factory drls, you have to use your headlights. I wired in a set of fairly bright leds next to my park lights that I use as drls , they are a strip of lights about 3/4 inch high by 6 inches wide and pretty much invisible unless they are on.

I could not run the head lights if they were hide aways. Save yes but destroy the looks of the carno

It's the law here in PEI. Cars not equipped with Daytime Running Lights must have their lights on during the day. I just turn on the parking lights. At some point I may wire up a permanent solution.

I am considering an "ignition-on" headlight relay system.

If I am putting in a relay system anyways, I might as well just hook it up to an ignition wire instead of the switch.

I always run with lights on.

No need to worry about leaving them on with the key off...I have an alarm wired in that screams at me once the key is turned off and lights still on.

Old lesson learned from days of rallying in unfamiliar back roads in an Austin 850 at breakneck speeds!

In my 67 Grande I never ran with the lights on due to the hidden headlamp arraignment, but I'd always put on the running's even though there aren't very effective in the bright sun.

I've always wanted to add a bright white LED city light into those corner markers, but never have as it requires pulling the corner extensions. I might just do that next year.

Adding an ignition switched relay into the feed wire for the lamp relays, and one in the rear lamp feed on both cars would be easy enough. good idea.
