He never did show what's in a TESLA motor.

The number of small 50 cent computer parts inside that casting that can't be accessed

without removing the casting from the car is unbelievable....

 Thats what I was thinking too George, a lot of crap in there to fix eventually.

Not sure if any of you guys have heard of Sandy Munro? His company buys vehicles (and other consumer items) and tears them down for analysis.

His company also works with OEM's to help cut manufacturing costs. Anyway, they just bought a Tesla Model S Plaid and are currently driving it across the US.

When they get back they are going to tear it down completely. I'm looking forward to watching. Here's episode 1 of the road trip
