New French law requires car companies to promote walking, cycling in their ads

The law will be enforced starting March 1, 2022, when ads will be required to mention one of three messages:

"For short journeys, walk or cycle," "think about carpooling" and "take public transport daily."

They will be mentioned in all advertisements including but not limited

to billboards, on TV, on the radio, in print, and online.
