I believe that Caddy was used to shuttle Elvis to and from the airport IIRC.

I've never seen that Capri in the 8 years I've been here. Talking to the locals they tell me there are quite a few treasures stored away in barns etc.

Thats typical of a lot of areas. As people age. As cars get more expensive. People are loathe to bring them out or even to talk about them. Within a block or two of me are a 1970 Chevelle SS and 1969 AMX and Camaro in garages.

Down the road from me there's a barn pretty much in the woods. All the doors are blocked with trees. I often wonder if something cool is parked inside.

There are many sheds I'd like to peek into.

How about all the sheds/outbuildings on the hwy. "up west" between S'side and North Cape? smile

I know of an old tractor in a shed, just down the road from me, that hasn't moved in at least 3 decades.

My buddy Dave (born Islander) sometimes comes with me on my delivery runs and points out properties and tells me where there's cars parked in the woods etc. He's a walking PEI encyclopedia. He sometimes forgets I'm not from here and will say "Remember when the Esso station was here?" lol. Great guy.

I'm always picking local's heads for history, info. and leads. I like digging very old trash heaps where a house used to stand.

I get that all the time also. Weirdest one was "down where the motorcycle hit the tree and the guy lost a leg". blankstare
