Somebody was looking for one of these cars a while back.

Boy is this one clean !

1986 Chevy Monte Carlo SS | Classic Cars | London | Kijiji

"Selling my clean all original Monte Carlo SS, Hardtop, very straight car with original 42,000miles, very clean interior, 5.0l V8, auto, underside of this car has no rust factory paint still shines on the underside floors, mint frame rails ,never winter driven, ac, full tune up, battery, bfg radials, runs great was in storage for alot of years, has all factory decals and rpo codes were they should be .

 Great collector only going up in value. Has some clear coat peeling from age could use a paint and tlc or just enjoy the way it is. $18,000 no trades. If serious leave your number and ill call you"

a friend of mine had two of these. His wife took the side of a country bridge out for a total. Simply ordered another one. Repeat business for the dealer.

 I paid $15,700 in August 1985 for my 1986 SS. Loaded car with AC ticked all the boxes I wanted. The only way to actually get one in Canada was to order it because dealers were limited to the number they could get. The car's main appeal being Southern states. The car was delivered to me November 10, 1985 at Hogan Chev Olds in Scarborough Ontario, the only dealer I could find who offered to order me a 1986 car mid way through 1985.

Is this a reasonable price for this car? I don't know my 80's values. I know its worth what ever market will allow, but just wondering. Looks like a nice car.

No cruise on it.

 There are a bunch of nice ones for about the same price.

All burgundy inside.

Fore some reason that grey interior was rare in the Monte.
