Occasionally there's a really easy final jeopardy question, and surprisingly all contestants will get it wrong. Last week it was a question regarding the Punchbowl Cemetery in Hawaii.

Especially on a U.S. based show. After all, up here, we live in igloos, ski, and wear parkas all year long, eh.wink

But seriously, I've never heard the term "Spud Islander" used before.

Yes. Potato wart noticed on a few. Allegedly the gov't has done nothing for the farmers. The industry is in a mess right now. One farmer said they've lost all their export customers and have no idea how many seed potatoes to order for next year. Something strange going on pretty much like everything else right now.

We're still using potatoes that I field picked in the Fall down the road from us. Turnips & Carrots also. The price was REALLY right.smile They usually last the whole winter in our cool back porch.

 Good stuff.

I also foraged a ton of wild raspberries, rose hips, mushrooms (all frozen), and "wild lettuce" (dried). I'm getting more into foraging.
