vauxhall Viva in New Brunswick

https://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/bathurst/1966-viva-vauxhall-for-sale/1601021664

in one of my recent sign ins to kijiji this showed up as on the first page as a recommended car for me

someone has spent a bit of money on it judging by the appearance

nothing is mentioned in the ad about the engine so it must be stock

the seller might want to give it a quick vacuum

The crap on the floor and back seat may be for rodents and musty odour.

My sisters first car was a 65 Viva, around 1973 when she was 17. If I remember correctly Chevrolet Dealers sold the same car branded as an Envoy? They disappeared with the arrival of the Vegas and the Astras.

The second model was the Epic, Envoy was a different model-bigger.

Not my thing exactly, but they do have a coolness/quirkyness about them.  This one looks like a particularly good example.

I remember seeing a lot of them (and other British cars) around here in my youth, but they all disappeared over the years.  You hardly see a British car on the roads these days, except the occasional MG in the summertime.  I was going to say Jaguar and Land Rover, as you see quite a bit of them, but they are no longer British-owned (now owned by Tata Motors of India).

The next generation Viva was a nicer looking car. When I was in trade school one of my fellow classmates had one with a 327 and a powerglide.

For that price you would think it be cleaned up.
