Dropped salvors onto it via helicopter today. the LiOn batteries kept the fire burning. Lots of disappointed plutocrats not getting their Porches and Bentaygas.

Looks like that was a very hot fire. That high in the water, a lot of weight burnt up, maybe the fuel burned up too? If it was hit by a lot of firefighting water, that would be weight added so Id say the fuel and the cars burned up. These exotic cars are made with a lot of lightweight materials, aluminum, carbon fibre, plastic, etc, it all burns up and there is not much weight left.

I think they use the sea water as ballast. If theyre running empty they add water, loaded they dump water. With no mechanical or electrical systems working there would be no way to control the pumps that do that. It mentioned that the ship lost balance and leaned over while being towed and then finally went over and sank.

If that thing had got to port, imagine how many millions it wouldve cost to clean that mess up. And a full, detailed investigation into the origin of the fire couldve been conducted.
Someone must be really disappointed that it sank before making it to port.

 Maybe "someone" wanted it to sink.wink 

Less investigation now, and a shorter paper shuffle with the insurance company.
