 I was watching a formula 1 race a few years ago and they were showing dash shots. The driver was shifting at 10,000 rpm. The commentator remarked that due to the layout of the course the rev limiters in the cars were set at 10,000 rpm from the normal setting of 14,000 to reduce the speed of the cars to match the track conditions!

Been stood for many many years, not familiar with these engine but I can see that one of the connecting rods is badly damaged. I have taken many other photos but couldn't fit them all here this should be consider as requiring a full rebuild. Many parts appear to be missing. 

 

There are two paint marking available from Ontario motor speedway and two very faint USCA stampings near the number four spark plug which has been out for many years. The motor doesn't turn over for obvious reasons. 

 



 

Location shows Pickering Ontario.
