My favourite wrecking yard in Minnesota has a two-door post like that. It was a three on the tree car and I liberated the pedals and the manual transmission speedometer head out of the car. I never knew the head was unique but when I posted on the Buick forum about the pedals someone told me to go back and get the speedometer head.

Years ago I owned a 1970 Pontiac Tempest two door sedan. It was a 250 Chevy six with three on the tree. I had owned a couple of Chevelle two door hardtops and was surprised by how much quieter the two door sedan was.
