Interesting, how a cheap, simple lock on the OBD port can stop the electronic style theft.

On eBay and Amazon there are fake OBD ports hooked up to alarms, when someone plugs in to them, for $60 US.

What happens if you use a hidden power shut off on these modern cars, a battery disconnect, probably screws up the computer?
