That small upstart has a market valuation of $46 Billion. GM is currently about $68 Billion. So they should have the financing to deliver.
Ive been watching the Rivians since they used them in the Long Way Up series with Ewan McGregor & Charlie Boorman. They seemed to stand up pretty well, but the magic of editing may have saved them. I know that access to charging facilities was a major challenge for the Rivians as well as for the all-electric Harley Davidsons.
Awesome performance numbers. Saw a drag race between a Ford Raptor and a Rivian (the Rivian was towing a GM Cyclone on a trailer). The Rivian won.
The practical side of me says, "Where would you service one of these"?

I assume Rivian will be setting up service facilities in major cities. I still find it interesting people here buy Lexus, Mercedes, Jaguars, Audi, Porsche, Tesla, BMW etc when there aren't any dealerships to service them here in PEI. They have to drive to Moncton or Halifax for warranty work. What a PITA that would be!
