If I had a D8 bulldozer to sell, Mecum or Barrett-Jackson wouldn't be the first places I'd think of to take it!
Anyone know what the paint (1209) decodes to? The American codes are all 9XX-A. The interior code is for copper, although someone ordered a hybrid green vinyl with the correct inserts for copper when they redid the car.
Not my cup of tea, but a buddy (former Caterpillar peddler) out in Edmonton thinks he might be able to get it cheap.
Love how whoever reassembled the engine put the valve covers on upside-down and on the wrong heads.
Here's the 59 GM paint book pages. Little confused by the wording about 2 tone on both pages I would have thought that code 1209 would be 12 = Gothic Gold Met over 09 = Roman Red. This would be consistent with a copper interior.
