In the photo showing the undercarriage, what is the bracket on the frame rail going up to the floorpan?

Not to be confused with the 427SS Z24 option. Those had the special domed hoods.

Exhaust hanger there as there used to be an exhaust there? For that kind of money, the pictures are lacking and that hanger should have been removed?
