I have been following this set of videos. I wonder how long the 3D printed carb adapter will last. I was surprised that it actually runs and drives fairly well. It reminds me of a friends father telling me he was working as a carpenter in the early 1940s and money was tight. He bought a 1936 Auburn sedan for $5.00. He couldnt afford the gas for it and swapped out the carb for a smaller Ford carb. It was awful to drive until it warmed up but the gas mileage was great!
People saw him driving it and offered to buy it, the reason being if he could afford to drive it it must be cheap to run. Of course he would swap the carb back to the original before selling it. He bought and sold it several times, making a profit each time.
