I bought this car from a truck driver who brought it up from the states. It was virtually rust free but for some bubbling in the bottom of the front fenders which were repaired by a professional (trusted friend). The paint, vinyl top and interior were sunburned beyond repair so I sourced seats from a wrecked limosine and all other interior parts from another donor coupe. Some parts that weren't black were painted with vinyl paint. I stripped the car to bare metal and had it painted to match the original blue. The vinyl top was omitted, personal choice, as was the side chrome and rear quarter light because at the time I couldn't find any decent stuff. This all took place thirty years ago and the car has been in a garage ever since, never spent a night outside. Runs great, No smoke, Just tuned it up, AC Delco parts only, and had the transmission serviced and sealed up. Air doesn't work, not hooked up, and doesn't have cruise, horn quit, hard to keep them working in a telescopic steering column. So what I'm saying is it needs a little love to be one hundred percent again. My long term plan was to be a little old man driving around in a Cadillac but it hasn't got a mark on it and I can't stand the thought of banging it up, so off it goes. Bring a trailer the tires are thirty years old, still great but thirty years old. $16.000.
