Foam lake is just an hour west of Yorkton on the #16 Yellowhead... you could always rejoin the #10 at Fort Qu'Appelle via the #35 junction south that is only 15 minutes to the west of me or take the #6 south at the Dafoe junction that is 45 minutes west of me on the Yellowhead #16.

If time is an issue and if it were a weekend, I could meet you in Yorkton....

So sorry! It was such a crazy hectic drive that I just never had the energy or time to get back to you. But check out this photo of the dealer sticker on the trunk!

WELL! I'll be a monkeys uncle!! So so cool...... It was such a small dealer. I have only 1 car here from there.

Yes... I have a pic here somewhere of the building and cars.... Unfortunately, the building burnt down about 5 years ago... Google is way behind!

Too bad it's gone.  Old dealership buildings are cool - you can almost imagine a bunch of "new"1960s GM products sitting beside it.  I imagine they wouldn't have kept much of an inventory, and probably sold more trucks than cars, given that it was in a farming area.

Not 100% sure. I will dig when I find a copy of the actual photo.

3 4 doors and a pickup, you can see what they were selling. Nice old picture.

Awesome pic!  Thanks for posting that - it's cool to link that pic to the one from Google (2013).  You can see that the building had retained its original character, including the stripes running around the top.  Too bad it burnt.

Combination Pontiac-Buick-GMC-Beaumont-Acadian dealership and Texaco station.  Very interesting to see what looks like plain-jane 4 door sedans (even the Buick looks like a lower-line Lesabre without the "showy" white stripe tires) and what looks like a low-line GMC pickup (looks to be chrome-free).  One would expect the local vehicle market, apparently being a farming town) would be more practical back in the day, with higher-line cars with "unnecessary" options and the like being considered too ostentatious (and expensive).

Or maybe just the luck of the draw that those particular vehicles were parked in front on that particular day.  I have no knowledge of the local area, so just guessing.
