I saw these for sale on the Left coast.

Not much of a pic to go on.

They look like Firebird caps circa 1969-70

Are PMD caps normally from the US only? In the earlier years none of our Canadian Pontiacs said anything more than simply "PONTIAC" on them.

Do you have a 1969 Accessories Borchure?   If so, it'll show the various caps that were available, and on what models.   Even though it's a US brochure, applicable to US cars, but you can see whether that cap was available on a B body.

The wheelcovers at the start of the thread are 69-70 Firebird and A body (Tempest, LeMans, GTO) and were named Deluxe. They were optional on all Firebirds and A bodies both years and included with the decor group. They were not available on the Grand Prix or any of the B body big cars.

The wheel cover shown in the previous post was the standard 2+2 only wheelcover. It is basically the same as the American one but with a different center cap. Actually even the wheelcover itself is made slightly different but barely noticeable. I never liked this model because it doesnt fully cover the wheel, leaving a half inch of the wheel showing all the way around, making it look like the car has 13 wheels.

Thanks John.

The seller got back to me and said the caps were sold anyways.

I have see a couple 2+2s with 1969 Parisienne caps but I don't think they were ever sold that way.

I still have my Grandfather's 14 inch Grande Parisienne caps biggrin
