Collectable Automobile Magazine

I just received a copy of the October issue and was thrilled to see they used my 65 convertible in the article. Its really cool to see something you put a lot of pride and effort into making it nice, immortalized in print.

 Yes it is

And they included a mix of all the years and models to illustrate the article.

I was at a Sunday morning coffee meet at Timmies, when a fellow approached me and explained that he was a photographer for collector car magazine and was looking for Beaumonts for an article. After talking with him for a bit and deciding he was ligit I agreed to meet at a suitable spot for a photo shoot.

After the photo shoot, I asked if they use my car, do I get a copy of magazine. He figured it might be in the July issue next year and I would get a copy ahead of time. I was sure the article was going to be published because of the fellow earlier this year was asking about Beaumonts and their history. July came and went and still no copy so I figured they did not use the photos. I got home last night from working out of town and there was an October 2022 copy of Collector car magazine in my mail, filled with photos of Beaumonts of all years. Very cool

No luck finding it at the Indigo in Charlottetown which I'm sure used to sell this magazine.

Yes, I had put stories in Old Autos and then in The Toronto Star Eye Candy Section.   Had to provide photos and text and then the anticipation began.

Which issue???

In  my down sizing I have lost my copy of the Old Autos print.

I had my 70th birthday weekend at the Old Autos event in August 2012  and stopped in to inquire as how to get my story in the paper.

So it would be in an issue in 2013 likely March, April or May.

Any one have a copy?

Sorry for the derrail

Cliff

Congratulations on being featured. I've been waiting for years to see this beautiful magazine feature Beaumonts, Acadians and full sized Canadian Pontiacs. Can't wait to get my copy of the mag.
