Hi Guys, don't know if I'm in the right place . I'm from Perth Western Australia with an Aussie built 1974 HQ Holden running a 350 chev.

Trying to get the motor back to original and looking at the net, know the motor it needs is a Mckinnon Industies /St Catherines build.

Have also found out around the 74 period Mckinnon made engines for mercruiser  marine. Have purchased a 74 build 260 hp mercruiser of the right vintage and casting numbers. it has a 751309118 serial number stamped into it in the normal place . Trying to decode this number, have worked out the other number K 2 06 cmj. Seen similar numbers but nothing to say what they are. Can any one help?

Yes, welcome here Jeff. I know there's a few guys here who have extensive knowledge about McKinnon. I'm sure they'll see this and be able to help.
