Can you help me identify this? (part #1)

I have done some google image searches, and am guessing I have here a 73-75 Corvette cowl induction air cleaner to hood seal.

 

Do we have any experts in our midsts?

I'd appreciate help nailing this down.

I could not find any part number on this:

I saw a listing where the width of the metal was shown, so here is what it looks like where the seal is factory taped (at the inside)

Any help would be appreciated.

3955231 for 73-75, or do you not have any idea what number it is?

I could not find any part number stamping on the metal ring, and from the listings I found online, it reads as though there was something different about 73/74 vs 75.

The parts book only lists that one number for 73-75 but that's not to say the original pieces that were installed on the assembly line were identical all 3 years.
