I follow this fellow on Youtube as I enjoy talking long distance on my CB radio and his reports tell how atmospheric conditions are. He does a daily "Solar weather forecast" and apparently there was a good sized Coronal Mass Ejection that has ejected a plasma burst that will hit us tomorrow. It may affect electronics, GPS etc. The solar activity is ramping up and at the same time the earths magnetic field has been weakining which means we are susceptible to damage from these CME's. We may not feel any effects of this at all but I find it fascinating nonetheless.
