Princess Dianas Escort is being auctioned, she drove this car with baby Prince William in the back. Pretty cool lady Id say.

Carl, hard to disagree with this philosophy when we have Lady Di on our side?

Cant remember if I posted before, I gave my granddaughter and grandson, 14 and 12, driving lessons in the 3 pedal Tacoma last month during their visit. They had a great time, been bragging about it to their city friends in Ottawa. One friend said jokingly it was illegal and she was going to call the cops. I had always let them steer my boat since they were tall enough so they had some idea about steering at least.

If I recall in England if you take your driving test in an automatic transmission car you are only able to drive an automatic, not a manual transmission.

Pretty sure that rule was in effect in BC when I got my licence in 68. Not sure why they changed it? Double licensing would be a great money grab for the government.

Agreed.  During our New Zealand vacation in 2019, minutes before the world shut down, I asked the other 3 travelers if they would let me do the driving, giving any of them  veto power to kick me from behind the wheel at any time.  I just wanted to say I did the driving across both islands.  They agreed and so I did.

Loved it.  Kiwis are way to kind and nice to get upset with you, plus they are courteous drivers, but I was very pleased with the outcome.  Being a lefty seemed to help.

Only issue was when I got back to Winnipeg, I kept turning my wipers on for no good reason

Also got to meet a great poncho member and drive his RHD poncho.
