So here is my 1966 4 door sedan without any optional equipment. No bower brakes, no bower steering only tree on a tree and 194 6-inline. This is pure speculation, but the person Niemelä Eino that brought this car bought it new from Canada intention to take it Finland in 1971. There is British Columbia sticker and Glacier Service Smithers dealer emblem. There is lots off sawmill industry in that part of Canada as well as here in Finland. This Eino Niemelä worked here in big sawmill corporation Rauma Repola oy. So he probably was studying the field and working methods in Canada and was living in Vancover area.
History in Finland is very largely elucidated. 1970 This car has been shipped overseas to Finland to this same city were i live. From here it has been moved to north Finland and were it were in daily us up to 1990.
From that point it storage indoors until 2017. Little bit welding and sort little mechanical issues it´s now in road again.
Years in Canada would be very interesting to find out. Were has this Glacier Service Smithers dealer been located.
Wow, does it still have the Smithers dealer name tag on the back of the car? Looks like a great original car.
Maybe you can write up a complete story about the car, everything you know about it and send it to Todd, the administrator here at Canadian Poncho. It would be fun to see it featured at the top of the page here for a month.

You can get a lot of GM original information on when the car was built, selling dealer, original build sheet type of information too from Vintage Services in Canada.

There are many speed shops here for US cars and always can place an order Oder from Rock Auto. US car parts are cheap compering to European cars.
American cars and Hod Rod kulture has been increasingly popular here in Scandinavia for decades. The only problems come with Beaumont's own parts.
My car is probably the only 1966. There is at least one 1967 project car. Several 1964-1965 Acadian Beaumonts are still on a road.
1963-1965 There has been a GM dealer here in Turku who sold Acadian and other GM cars. The most sold GM´s were of course European Opel and Vauxhall, but Chevrolet sold quite good.
Maybe due to international trade bargains it was more affordable to sell Acadian Conso than Chevy II.

A pic I got from a Chevy site of a car show in Finland and a very unique 1963 Chevy. The 62 Bel Air is the one I sold near Helsinki, no idea if anything ever happened with it.

1963-1964 Chevy's are so popular here, no idea were they are. They were very often used in taxi cars. Nearly all of them were 6 inline and 4 door sedans.
