My '69 Cutlass 442 had the rubber trimmed mirror. I i believe it was meant as a safety item. Not sure it was standard or an optional item !

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.

If this is a rear view mirror, and is the same one used on 1970-1971 Firebirds, then I have a spare.
