Diesel lift pump question

Our 67 Ford 3000 3 cyl diesel has a fuel leak at the line going into the lift pump from the fuel tank. It appears the line (flared with a fitting) was cross threaded into the lift pump so I'm going to order a new lift pump and hard line. My question is:

Will I need to bleed the system after replacing the lift pump?

If I remember correctly there is a bleeder on top of the injector pump. If your lift pump has a hand primer you can bleed the air out easily.

Great! Thanks. My lift pump does have a hand primer.
