SURVIVOR! ONLY 16,203 ORIGINAL MILES COLLECTOR CAR. 1958 PONTIAC LAURENTIAN

History: Purchased new at Dickson Motors in Winnipeg, Manitoba by a couple and then the husband died. The car sat for years and then the elderly lady sold it to a young guy who got into financial trouble and sold it in 1974 to the current owners. The newly weds bought it jointly as their own wedding present and are now letting her go after all these years. The car has never seen rain or snow and has never been smoked in. The car was stored up on blocks when not driven for extended periods of time. Factory protective plastic still on the seats. Has that amazing new/old car smell inside. Remarkable survivor!

Body: No rust – still shines. No chips or marks (other than shown below under known Issues).

Frame/Chassis/Suspension: Factory untouched.

Engine: Original factory 6 cylinder with new water pump, fuel sending unit, fuel pump, heater hoses and fan belt. Carb has been rebuilt. Radiator recored. Although this car is a 1958 model and has only 16,203 miles, it was kept in new condition.

Trans: Factory 2 speed automatic. Differential: Stock. Exhaust: Factory with new muffler. Brakes: 4-wheel drum with new front brake hoses. Master cylinder and wheel master cylinders were rebuilt by John Stewart in Ontario (cylinder rebuilder specialist).

Wheels: Original steel with factory hub caps, Tires: Original factory NYLON 7.80 X 14s. Wide white walls – all hold air.

Interior: Factory and in new condition. Headliner and package shelf are like new. Still has factory protective clear plastic on the seats.

Extras included: Original Owner’s Manual and a Shop Manual. Options and Special Features: 16,203 original miles! All mechanicals kept up like new and properly stored with no mice smells.

Known issues: Minor surface rust on trunk floor under factory mat and some on the spare tire storage well bottom. One dent (not scratched) on the passenger side front fender lower rear and a crack in the padded dash by the speaker (ask for close up photos). Reason for selling: Not using, liquidating. Looks to be in Alberta according to the phone number but sold new in Winnipeg?

Very similar to the nice original low mile one that was in Morris on a semi car hauler a month or so ago but I believe that one is more of a copper colour than this car.
