help with convertible well on a 65 Beaumont


how does the front of the well attach to the top of the seat/trunk devider? i see screw holes but i have no metal strip to hold the well to the dividerconfuse

on my 69skylark it is hemmed and screwed no strip

Don't know if 65 is same as 64 but I would guess so.

About a foot from top of back seat there is a plate that runs
from wheel well housing to wheel well housing that has flat top about 1in wide
This is were mine attaches to.
The divider board from there up covered with seat material and screwed to back of seat top
along with the channel piece to hold the front of the tonneau or boot cover cover.

If this does not make sense I will try to get some pictures in the next few days.
