For Manitobans - Hagerty classic car insurance update

For any of you guys in Manitoba who are using Hagerty, I just got this from my Autopac agent. I had inquired about it in the past because I knew it was available elsewhere but so far it was not in Manitoba.

"Hi Carl. Hagerty has just introduced a new coverage in the province that lets you keep the car in the event of a write off. If youre interested let me know and Ill call you with more info."

Hagerty calls it "Cherished Salvaged Coverage"  it cost me less than $20.00. a year.

Hagerty doesn't promote it very much so you have to ask about it.

You get to keep your classic should it be written off.

Good deal.

Mine are on it in Ontario, nice to see Manitoba now in the fold.

I think it was only 20 bucks or so more.

It has to do with our government insurance. Because they (Autopac) have the monopoly in Manitoba it wasn't so easy to get it to happen apparently. I knew Hagerty was working on it but wasn't sure if or when it would happen.
