Friend found it in his vast collection of parts. His dad was a huge Big Block guy. My friend inherited his 69 Impala SS 427 4 speed car. Its a beauty. Anyway, is this model specific or just big block Pontiac?

That would be 1966 or 67 396 Poncho air cleaner. With that nice shape original decal it would be worth some dough.

From what I know about these if it has a hole in the bottom of the snout for a warm air vent it would be probably 1967 or at least late 1966.

Yes, unique to those 2 years I believe. Same as Impala if the decal was gone.
