At least 1.5 feet of snow has dropped since last night and it is still coming down! When I was a kid (long time ago ) I loved winter but now that I am an old guy not so much!
Glad I got the riding mower and Chevelle winterized Tuesday as I was going to do it Saturday.
My brother in law posted pics from his family near Buffalo, 4 feet so far.

Buffalo at 5 ft so far, reminds me of PEI winters from the 60s, with lots of wind always.
One time about 1968, mom and dad went to Summerside on a Saturday evening, about 15 miles away. They were driving a 1968 Parisienne 2 door hardtop, bright red with a black vinyl top. A major snowstorm came up, they got stormstayed about 5 miles from home, got home Tuesday.
When they cleared the main road where they were, the equipment they used couldnt reach the top of the snowbanks, you could see where it just fell down. Some roads had to wait to be cleared by large bulldozers.
We used to toboggan off the barn roof and you could have walked over the power lines.

I'm glad winters aren't like that here anymore. I suppose 2015 was close (and was apparently the worst in 100 years) Now that I've said this watch this winter will be nasty lol
