It is nice to think those North American supercars...are from up here.

I've toured that plant, and know an long time Electrician and a big paint guy that work there. Unfortunately, time isn't on Bramalea's side.

In 2002 I ordered a new Thunderbird. We could contact a retired work from the plant with our Vin # and he would take you down the line so you could watch your car being built

A good family friend is plant manager there in Brampton, started with AMC. Dyed in the wool corporate guy, he calls the Chrysler 300 the American Bentley!

Entire family drives Chrysler or Jeep through his employee plan.

Anyhoo he told me some good stories about special order engineering cars he built for the Detroit Engineers when Hell Cat was being developed, Finished cars were transported to Detroit in unmarked closed transports, the Engineers would come up and personally escort the transports back.

Not sure what he drives now but at one time he did have a sweet convertible 200.
