My father spent 28 years working for GM in Detroit.
Most of those years was at the Fisher Fort Street plant 21 , but he also worked
a few years in the 70's at the nearby Clark St. Cadillac plant, and a few years working
at Lordstown , Ohio when the Vega was being built. He was a Tool and Die maker.
Fisher Fort Street production ended in 1984. Lots of youtube video showing Fisher Fort St
abandoned plant. It was built in 1919. If you run across video of Fisher Fort Street plant
in it's active days of the 60's,70's and 80's please post.
