Back up lights

I am swapping my 66 sd from auto to manual trans. What reverse light harness do I buy?  GTO, Chevelle, other? Thank you

They are possibly the same, although I think to be safe I'd buy Chevelle because is had the same shifter as the Beaumont. The GTO had a Hurst shifter and possibly the backup switch was different then?

I assume you already have the switch? This harness should plug into the harness that comes as part of the switch, and that rubber plug on it is the firewall plug. You likely already knew all that but figured I'd mention it in case others who don't know are following this thread.

I am not sure I have " the switch". Pardon my ignorance but what switch?

The one in the picture above is the one you need. Assuming you are doing a Muncie 4 speed? I forget if that's your plan. If you are, you also need a mounting bracket and the little actuator rod for that switch.

Ok. Thank you. I do not have the switch or harness in the pic you posted.  So I need the switch, harnes and mounting plate?  Or is the switch and the harness the same item?  Bit confused. Sorry

Sorry, I see what you mean, my writing wasn't clear. You need an RP20113 which is the harness from the firewall to inside the car. Also you need the RP20015 backup lamp switch which includes the harness from the switch up to that firewall plug. And you need the 39504 backup switch mounting bracket, actuator rod and shield.
