1965 Parisienne CS owners, now questions about missing parts.

Hey everyone,

This is me again. Now I have few questions regarding some parts that seem missing from my car. Can anyone please share images of the areas of concern? The more I'm digging the more missing things I find.

1. It seems some cover is missing on both sides of the rear bench, currently it's a bare metal.

2. I suspect the fancy carpet there by the rear window is not native, or is it?

3. Something looks missing on both sides to the front of the doors

4. There are holes on both sides of the dashboard on the front.

5. The shape of interior side panels behind the doors does not ideally match the shape of the doorways.

6. And the most interesting part... There's a decent size hole on the hump over the driveshaft. Does that mean there was a console with shifter or it's just for ice fishing?:)

Also - is the console exactly the same with Impala's?

The console is identical I believe except for the SS emblem the Chevy unit has.

That is definitely not original. A reproduction correct panel will be available.

Yes, there should be plastic moulded kick panels there. I believe they will be the same from any model, hardtop, sedan, wagon etc.

4. There are holes on both sides of the dashboard on the front.

It appears the factory metal floor hump for mounting the floor shifter has been removed.

There is to be plastic filler panels on both sides of the rear seat.  I think the bottoms of the fillers screw into the back of the side armrests.  I might have a pair of sandalwood colored ones - seventy2plus2

Your Door Jam Quarter Window Seals have seen better days, they cover the opening for removing the window.  I might have a set of reproductions here somewhere.  - seventy2plus2

The filler panels that go at the ends of your back seat are steel and Canadian or American will fit. I actually have the shifter porch for that big hole in your floor it was removed from a 65 CS. I have the correct console with the plastic inner and the auto shifter. Is the car still a 2 speed power glide as 3 speeds have a different detent for the gear select.

Ok. When I get back home in 4 weeks I will get you some pictures of this stuff. Are there any bucket seat floor brackets remaining? With bench seat in it now they may be still there under the seat. I will send you pictures of the floor brackets I have.
