Front signal/park light gremlin

I was trying to solve an issue with the front signal and park lights on a 69 GTO. Weird things were happening, all wiring checked out so all indicators pointed

toward the offshore sockets and housings. Turns out the socket was stamped wrong where the pegs on the bulb indexes in. Adding this to the site to maybe

help others.E2B2F5B7-8082-4D43-BD87-954653919057.jpeg5CA446CC-6136-4A4D-94DD-2757EAF6F7AB.jpegDA433C54-0F83-472E-9B82-EBCCD197109C.jpeg

Did they have it 180 degrees out? Does that mean the park lamp and signal lamp filaments were reversed?

Yes the two contacts for the bulb were reversed, which made both the signals and park lights do strange things. The wires couldnt be swapped
because of the style of plug. The plug has four wires that are moulded right in to it.
