Seen the usa in my Chevr.... PONTIAC!

It has been a busy winter season with many different things but I did want to share some nice phots we took of our Custom Sport in Michigan during our trip to Autofest. The old girl made the 695 mile trip without incident. There is definitely something to be said about a nice reliable old car.

We were not able to eat at this diner but the photo op. was too good to pass up.

Our Pontiacs look as strange to them as theirs do to ours. When we used to travel to the south during March Break as a kid, it was strange to see what appeared to be a '64 Laurentian 2-door sedan but on this Catalina the track was super wide and the tailpipe was a little right of center out the back. Ours similarly must look really funny to them with the skinny track (although ours have a weight advantage).

I've loved the '64 Parisienne Custom Sport as long as I can remember. I don't know if you can read the calendar but it is Dec 63 / Jan 64. Giddy-up 409 with boomerang tail lights!

Now for the big question:
Why were you not able to eat at the diner?
Upset you took photos without asking? Meal prices too high when converted to Canadian Dollars?

Not Pals Diner.. It's on the outskirts of Birchrun MI. Couldn't eat there as it was so busy that the wait was long. I will have to try next time.
