Some company is electrifying Jag E-types. Half the attraction to those cars is a twin cam inline six. Sacrilege!

On the other hand, an EV injection could wake up some obscure rotting carcasses. Imagine a Borgward Isabella as an EV. It might even be cool. Electric motors produce maximum torque right off 0 rpm, so tire smoke can happen.

Just don't rip the sole out of a car that made its internal combustion engine the focal point. Don't stop the music. V-12 Caddy, DOHC Jag, Porsche 911, Big Block 'vette (or LS-motor), Z/28,  Alpha Romeo Duetto Spider etc.

 

I think there are TOO MANY hyperactive Chicken Littles out there (and I mean out there). You know what I'm saying.

 

Ah well, let it unfold. Life is full of surprises and inspirations.
