Post pandemic prices

I know prices are still out to lunch on pretty much everything, but yesterday my employee got a quote back on a new entry system consisting of front door with two side lites. Frame all white with black alb door and black side lite panels. Last year it was $4k this year over $7k. And this is with our pricing. I am at a loss for words.

I think a lot of this pricing is just opportunists looking to take advantage of people. It's the same here in PEI.

I totally agree with you guys. Yesterday a sales rep from a local parts supplier I dealt with a lot when I was working (he's an old car nut) stopped by to see my garage setup. He say my hoist and was telling me he wants to do a very similar thing to what I have, an extra bay on his double garage with a higher ceiling to accommodate a hoist. When he told me the prices he was getting quoted for hoists like my 4 post I was speechless. It sounds like they are up more than a $1000 since I bought in 2016. Mine was $3304 including taxes and delivery then, now he's talking close to $5000.
