Air cleaner is a 1970-72 Z28 & Corvette small block item that was first used on the 1965 Z-16 Chevelle with the chrome lid. With a black painted lid it was used on 1965 Chevrolets with L78s, 1966 Chevrolets with L72s, and may have been scheduled for the cancelled 1967 Big Chevrolet L78.

Shown below are 1968 Chevrolet air cleaners. Note the contour of the lid, it is not smooth. Also, chrome was only used on SS427 models (hence the different valve covers & engine code)

Manual (a.i.r. pump system is missing, but is a Canadian car so...). Also because of the longer downward snorkel I believe this is actually a 1968 Chevelle L35 air cleaner. 1968 B-body Big Block cars should have the short snorkel that points 90 degrees straight to the right, like the one shown in  the bottom picture.

Shown below is  the Thermac version for the automatics (& perhaps the Canadian manual versions?), the flexible duct from it to the heat shield id missing.
