I have a 1976 Chev BelAir sedan with 27281 miles. 350 cubic inch, 2 barrel, automatic. Two tone brown with beige vinyl roof. The interior is beige and seats are beige with checker inserts. The car has been in family since new. It is safety inspected, newly serviced. New battery, carb kit, shocks, brake lines and tires have all been replaced. Car is in good condition and must be seen to appreciate. Can be seen in Shediac by contacting 506-384–0284 $7900

Canada-only model starting 1976. Not exactly a hot collectible, it certainly is a survivor. It is about as big as Chevy sedans ever got. Instead of the Bel Air,  the U.S. sold a special stripped version of the Impala called the Impala S that came with bias ply tires.

Note the dash isn't cracked. They ALL cracked on 1971-76 Chevies. We had a '74 that had the dash replaced in 1976 at the dealer. Amazingly, the replacement never cracked by the time we got rid of the car in 1986.

I'll never forget the brand new 1976 Bel Air wagon I saw on Manatoulin Island. 454, towing an Airstream trailer. Except for a detail or 2 it looked just like the one in the brochure.

EDIT: The wagon looked almost exactly like this:

I love that hose clamp, it's almost cutting through the rubber!

And what is hanging down under the radio?

Plus one on "love those seats".

That was my first guess but I had no second guess.

Unless it's one of those weird increase-your-mileage on your car do-dads from way back when.

Sure, it has some appeal if only for it's rarity. But by then any joy had been completely costed out of these cars hadn't it.

Looks like the interior of any 1976 RV.

I think I figured out the thing under the dash. It looks like an extra cable on the throttle linkage. I checked for that because suddenly when I was looking at the box under the dash, the name Pacesetter cruise control came to mind. Anyone remember those? I haven't searched yet but I bet the Pacesetter looks like that.
